{"id":30340,"date":"2020-04-14T19:51:49","date_gmt":"2020-04-14T17:51:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.luxury-estate-magazine.com\/?p=30340"},"modified":"2024-03-14T16:53:31","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T15:53:31","slug":"hazelnut-cake-by-alexia-santini","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.luxury-estate-magazine.com\/en\/hazelnut-cake-by-alexia-santini\/","title":{"rendered":"HAZELNUT CAKE by Alexia Santini"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxury-estate-magazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Recette_luxury-estate-magazine_01.jpg\"><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"p1\">Recipe suitable for a 25cm cake tin<\/h5>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Cake<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Baking powder &#8211; 3g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Flour &#8211; 40g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Ground hazelnuts &#8211; 110g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Ground almonds &#8211; 50 g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Caster sugar &#8211; 160g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Eggs &#8211; 160g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Butter &#8211; 100g<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Decoration<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Whole hazelnuts &#8211; 60g<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Hazelnut chocolate &#8211; 60g<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p4\">\n<strong>Tip:<\/strong> to begin with, roast the ground hazelnuts to give them and the cake a more intense flavour<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">Instructions<\/h6>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p2\">Roast the ground hazelnuts for 10 min at 180\u00b0C and leave to cool<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Roast the whole hazelnuts for 10 min at 180\u00b0C, remembering to give them a stir half way through, and leave to cool<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Mix the flour, baking powder, ground hazelnuts, ground almonds and sugar in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Add the eggs, mix everything together well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Add the butter, preferably melted, and mix until you have a smooth paste.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Pour into a cake tin which should ideally have been buttered and dusted with flour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p2\">Cook for around 50 min at 150\u00b0C and check it is cooked with the point of a knife. Once cooked, cover the cake with a clean cloth and allow to cool. Remove the cake from the tin.<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p3\">D\u00e9cor<\/h6>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p2\">Crush the hazelnuts with a rolling pin<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Use a brush to spread the chocolate over the cool cake then add the crushed hazelnuts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p2\">Leave the cake to rest for 1 hour and then enjoy<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxury-estate-magazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Recette_luxury-estate-magazine_02.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Directed by Collectif A3.
